LLC Filing Fees	The fee for filing Articles of Organization is $60. Foreign LLCs must file an Application for Authority to Transact Business in Louisiana and submit a filing fee of $100.
LLC Name Reservation Information and Fees	Informal inquiries regarding LLC name availability may be made by phone (225) 925-4704, by fax (225) 925-4727, or by mail to PO Box 941125, Baton Rouge, LA 70804. Louisiana organizers may reserve an LLC name by filing Form 398. Reservations are effective for sixty days. Two thirty-day extensions are available upon request. The fee for reservations is $25.

Periodic LLC Reporting Requirements	LLCs must file annual reports before the anniversary date of the LLCs initial filing in Louisiana. The Secretary of State mails the form to the corporation at least thirty days prior to the anniversary date. The Secretary of State does not provide blank forms. The filing fee is $10.

LLC Tax Summary	Most LLCs must file a Partnership Return of Income (Form IT-565). The return is required for informational purposes only. LLCs classified as corporations for federal tax purposes must file a Corporation Income and Franchise Tax Return (Form 620).
